Mail & Female has published five catalogues since 1988. Over the years they give a fine historical survey of what was the starting shot for the ‘woman-friendly’ sex business, the first ‘for and by women’ bizz in Europe, and the first in the world in this field that coupled fashion, design and fashion photography with a progressive feminist view on vibrators, dildos and open crotch slips!

Are we proud of that too? You better believe it! But the main thing is that we just keep on doing what we are best at, and what we enjoy. We have the feeling that we are still not even half way to where we want to be. What did I say? We’ve hardly begun! In the last analysis, we had to do an enormous amount of catching up, to create a situation where everything was different. Leafing through the catalogues, we see that we’ve come a long way at that. And that is reason enough to go on!
